The Directed Generative Production Binder is a working production methodology developed while making narrative films with generative systems.
It addresses the practical problems that appear when individual generations must become part of a larger work: character continuity, composition, camera movement, spatial relationships, first- and last-frame control, model selection, preservation, failure diagnosis, verification, cost and recovery.
The Binder is built from production, testing, failure and measurement. What works is documented. What fails is examined. What can be repeated becomes method.
It explains how these films are being made—and develops the methods by which future films will be made.
